The exhibition topic "The Deportations" shows different aspects of the deportation of the Jews.

"Recorded as a human being, loaded on board like cattle"

Six exhibition elements, graphically reminiscent of goods wagons, are used to show aspects of the deportation of the Jews from Germany and the occupied territories, from various points of view:

Evacuation:

For all the world to see - exclusion of fellow citizens, using the example of Franconian Jews.

Ghetto:

The meaning of ghetto as an intermediate station on the way to the "Final Solution".

Freight wagons:

Clearance of the ghettos in the east. Individual reports of experiences during the transport.

A congregation:

Complete list of deported Nuremberg Jews.

Individual fates:

Experiences during deportation.

Arrival:

Selection, forced labour, death.
